FAIR TRADING AGREEMENT

 

Booking on-line - your contract with us

The Fair Trading Agreement forms the basis of your contract with Stella International Travel Ltd. members of the Travel Trust Association, membership number T8794. This guarantees that monies which you pay are protected and that your booking is financially secure.

 

Our Fair Trading Agreement sets out clearly and simply the responsibilities we have to you and which you in turn have to us when a contract is made between us. When accepting the Fair Trade Agreement you are accepting the conditions on behalf of yourself and the others named in your party and that you have read, understood and accept this Fair Trade Agreement and the booking information provided. Your obligation is to pay the price of the booking and recognise your liabilities should you wish to alter the booking or make a cancellation. On our part we have obligations to provide you with the booking you have made. Our specification of that booking and our terms are clearly stated here.

 

YOUR CONTRACT WITH US

This Fair Trading Agreements forms the basis of your contract with Stella International Travel Ltd, members of the Travel Trust Association, membership no T8794. The contract is established when you receive our online confirmation of the booking. From that date you will be legally bound, subject to the provisions relating to cancellation set out below.

 

Here are the conditions appertaining to your contract with Stella International Travel Ltd.

 

For all bookings, we will send you a confirmation by e-mail. The confirmation shows the details of the booking made with the hotel. Check it immediately so that there is no possibility of misunderstanding. If you do not receive a confirmation within 15 minutes, you must contact us. The stars given to a hotel are determined by the local tourist office. We show, in most cases, extensive details of all our hotels. Familiarise yourself with these and get a feel for what the hotel has to offer.

 

1. Rooms: Hotels might occasionally allocate a twin even though a double room is reserved. If a double bed is required we suggest that you advise us of this and we will ensure that this is communicated to the hotel. In many destinations and hotels, all double rooms are made up of two single beds pushed together and made up as a double bed.

 

2. Payment for reservations is due at the time of booking. Your booking may be cancelled if payment has not been received.

 

3. Cancellations. For cancellation earlier than 48 hours prior to arrival, we will charge a flat fee of £25.00 per person, per destination. Cancellations must be received at the latest by 17h00 48 hours prior to arrival in the hotel. If not it will be treated as a non-arrival and result in the first night of the stay being charged in addition to the above charge. In the event of a no show, full payment is due. We have the right to cancel any bookings that we believe to be fraudulent.

 

4. In the rare and unlikely event of a hotelier being unable tp provide the accommodation , the Client accepts that Stella International Travel Ltd. or the hotelier will provide an alternative of at least a similar standard.

 

5. Any dissatisfaction MUST be brought to the attention of the hotel management immediately and they must be given every opportunity to rectify the situation. If the hotelier cannot resolve matters satisfactorily, Stella International Travel Ltd. must also be contacted at the earliest opportunity. If having taken the above action the customer is still dissatisfied, complaints should be received in writing within 14 days of the customer's return.

 

6. Arrangements offered by Stella International Travel Ltd. to clients are governed by Scottish Law. Calls maybe recorded for training purposes.

 

7. Stella International Travel Ltd. reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions at any time.
